After a very busy summer, mainly due to the circumstances that accompanied the arrival of the fruit from Argentina, we started a new campaign with great energy. For Mundosol Quality the 2020-20201 campaign is the 38th in the company’s history.
The harvest forecast, according to Ailimpo (Interprofessional Association of Lemon and Grapefruit), is of something more primofiori, fine lemon, than the 2019-2020 campaign. However, the number of green lemons is estimated to be similar to the previous season.
Unlike 2019 in which September brought us torrential rains, very problematic, this year is being even too dry. This lack of water is having an impact, as it usually does, on the volume of fruit available to start.
