Artistic lemons two metres high and weighing more than 300 kilos have taken over the city centre of Murcia. Since 24 February, the travelling exhibition ‘Lemon Art Exhibition Tour’, which has toured and will continue to tour the main European cities, has been installed on Avenida Alfonso X El Sabio in Murcia.
The aim of this exhibition, which shows the values and characteristics of the lemon in an artistic way, is to show how it is produced in accordance with the world’s most demanding standards in terms of food safety.
The inauguration of the ‘Lemon Art Exhibition Tour’ exhibition was held yesterday morning in the Region of Murcia and was attended by different personalities from politics and society in Murcia.
Ailimpo, the Interprofessional Association of Lemon and Grapefruit, of which Mundosol Quality has been a member since its foundation, has created and organised the project ‘Welcome To The Lemon Age’, which includes the ‘Lemon Art Exhibition Tour’, to show the virtues and characteristics of the Spanish lemon as a whole.
Healthy, quality, leader, versatile, natural… these are the virtues that have been highlighted by the 8 artists who have conceived these 8 giant lemons. The 8 artists, including Amparo Alegría from Murcia, are members of the renowned association Grupo Pro Arte y Cultura.
Mundosol Quality is a company from Murcia, with a marked family character, dedicated to the cultivation, both conventional and organic, handling and marketing of citrus fruits, mainly lemons.
