Lemon fritters


  • 15 gr. butter
  • 100 gr. flour
  • 3 eggs
  • Mineral water
  • Zest of one lemon
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • Salt


To make the dough donuts must separate the yolks from the egg whites and beat well the egg whites until stiff, along with a pinch of salt.
On the other hand, will in a saucepan the butter and water to a boil. At this time, we will lower the intensity of the heat to low and add the flour, stir while undoing any lumps. After that turn off heat.

When mixture is cool add our yolks, one by one, as we continue stirring until well blended. Then add the egg whites, beaten previously, and continue stirring.

When we consider that the mixture has a uniform color, proof that foods are mixed well, add the grated lemon peel very thin with baking powder. Back to beat for a few minutes and let the mixture rest for an hour before starting to shape fritters.

To fry the donuts we putting enough oil to a boil in a saucepan and bring to a boil. With the help of a spoon round portions will make our dough and fry.
